Coronation Street: Daisy and Ryan have heart-to-heart in hospital
Coronation Street’s Ryan Connor (played by Ryan Prescott) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) have done their best to fight their feelings for each other.
However, spoilers released by ITV for next week’s episodes show that they are unfortunately caught on camera as they discuss their relationship, and the fallout from the clip will devastate Daisy’s fiance Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
At the beginning of the week, Ryan is excited about the future and his new job opportunity. He also appears to have rekindled his romance with Crystal and moved on from Daisy so things are looking up for him.
When he tells Crystal about his employment prospects she does her best to appear excited for him. In reality, though she is worried about losing him so soon after reconnecting.
She approaches Daisy and Daniel and reveals the reason for her trepidation about his potential work is that she’s moving to Glasgow and she was hoping he might go with her. She is keen to gauge their opinion.

Oblivious to Crystal’s hopes for their future Ryan tells her that he is still going for the interview at the gym as he wants to keep his options open.
He later, very obviously, blanks Daisy in the café which raises suspicions with Crystal who asks if anything is going on between the pair of them.
A guilty Daisy does her best to throw her off the scent and profusely denies it. However, she decides to give Ryan fair warning of his girlfriend’s suspicions and heads around to see him at home.
Ryan, who had been practising for a video interview, is so shocked to see Daisy that he forgets his computer camera is still recording. As the pair discuss their relationship, Ryan admits he still has feelings for her and says the sex was fantastic.
They are interrupted when Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) returns home and Daisy takes advantage of this to extract herself from the awkward situation and make a sharp exit.

When Ryan heads to work in the Bistro a nosy Simon is intrigued when he spots the camera. He hits play and can’t believe what he sees.
Outraged that his uncle has been deceived by the pair he sends Daniel a link to the incriminating video.
A stunned Daniel receives the video as he stands at the counter in Roy’s Rolls. After watching the video of Ryan and Daisy he is devastated to realise they slept together.
Will this be the end of his engagement to the bubbly barmaid or can they work through this?
Coronation Street is on ITV on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 8pm.
