Coronation Street viewers work out Stephens next victim — and its not ex-wife Gabrielle

Coronation Street fans think they have figured out Stephen Reid's next victim on the ITV soap after he murdered Leo Thompkins — and it's not his ex-wife Gabrielle.

Only recently, Leo was on a mission to prove that Stephen is a liar after learning that he had kissed his fiancée Jenny Connor when she was drunk and they had briefly split.

Leo decided to speak to the estate agent who was booked to value Audrey Roberts' house, before eavesdropping on a conversation with Gabrielle, who has been blackmailing him to pay back the money he stole from her.

Confronting Stephen on the balcony behind the Underworld factory, Leo revealed he had heard every word and knew about his plan to get his hands on the equity from Audrey’s house to pay her back.

As Stephen followed him onto the factory gantry, Leo taunted him, threatening to call Audrey as well as the police.

To which Stephen snapped as he attacked Leo, pushing him off the balcony as he fell into the open bin below and he later disposed of the body in chilling scenes.

During Friday's episode, Jenny confided in Stephen that she’s not heard a thing from Leo and suspects he’s met someone else in Canada to which he feigned sympathy.

Leo’s Dad, Teddy, then called at the Rovers and told Jenny and Stephen that there’s no trace of Leo and it’s time to alert the police, leaving Stephen anxious.

During the scenes, Stephen tried to get Teddy to not call the police as he appeared suspicious of his reasoning not to and now viewers think Leo's father could be his next victim.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "#corrie Don't let leo's dad near Stephen or bins!"

A different account put: "I think he is next on the list" with a worried emoji.

While another viewer added: "Is Leo’s dad the next victim of rubbish villain Stephen ? #Corrie."
