Faye Brookes celebrated her 36th birthday while on a lavish Maldives honeymoon with husband Iwan Lewis.
The Coronations Street star tied the knot with actor Iwan during a fairytale wedding in the Cotswolds just ten months after they first got together, and seven months after their engagement.
The pair jetted off to the Maldives at the end of last month and on Sunday had another reason to celebrate as Faye turned 35 while staying on the beautiful island.
To kick things off, Faye, who plays the role of Kate Connor in Corrie posted a snap to Instagram as she held up a bottle of bubbles in delight while on their hotel bed where she beamed at the camera.
The soap star looked stunning as she donned a white cap, bikini top and shorts.
As the birthday celebrations continued, Iwan paid a special tribute to Faye's first birthday as his wife and spoke about their time in the Maldives.
Alongside a black and white photo of Faye sitting on the bed with a present, Iwan wrote the sweet caption: "Today is my beautiful wife’s birthday … what a way to end an incredible 9 days away in the Maldives for our honeymoon. Here’s to a lifetime of birthdays and memories together!"
He added: "Thank you for everyone at @cocogirimaldives who have gone above and beyond to make this a special day for Faye".
The photo gave a closer glimpse inside their lavish hotel room at Cocogiri Island Resort which offers luxury accommodation and breathtaking views.
A message on the bed read 'Happy birthday', made out of plants and flowers.
Faye previously shared on Instagram that they have been staying in one of the hotel's water villas for their "last few nights" and said they felt "absolutely spoilt".
Since arriving on the tropical island the soap star has been keeping fans updated with a series of photos and videos as they soaked up the sun during island life.
Posting a video with a partnership with bluebaytravel, Faye showed off the views and reflected on how special it was to spend their honeymoon and her birthday in "heaven".
She wrote the caption: "We couldn’t have asked for a more magical honeymoon destination @cocogirimaldives made us feel very special and even more amazing that I get to spend my Birthday here … We are in heaven".
During their luxurious honeymoon, the newlyweds swam with baby sharks and turtles, admired the beautiful sunsets and explored the island while making the most of the crystal clear sea.
One day the actress showed off her incredible figure during a snorkelling trip while donning a black bikini.
In the video shared on Instagram, Faye could be seen swimming further down towards the ocean floor before forming a heart shape with her hands.
Sharing a peek into their honeymoon activities, she added the caption: "Filled with gratitude getting to share these unforgettable moments with my Husband and my best friend @iwylewis".
