Coronation Street's Hope admits she feels ‘left out’ at home | The Sun

HOPE Stape actress Isabella Flanagan is going head-to-head for an award with rival sister Amelia Flanagan.

Speaking to Inside Soap about her life off-screen, the Coronation Street star admitted things could be "heated" with her siblings.

While her older sister Amelia is known for starring as April Windsor in Emmerdale, Isabella has been playing the daughter of serial killer John Stape, Hope.

But she's not the only member of her family to have settled into the cobbles as her twin brother, William, has taken on the role of Joseph Brown, her on-screen cousin.

Isabella was recently nominated for Best Young Performer at the Inside Soap Awards, alongside Emmerdale’s Gabrielle Dowling aka Cathy Hope, Jude Riordan known as Corrie's Sam Blakeman… and her own sister Amelia.

And with her sister being a successful actress in a rival soap, Isabella has admitted to Inside Soap she has, on occasion, felt "left out."

"I always felt left out as my sister has won so many awards. So it’s nice to finally be nominated", she said.

The 11-year-old actress added that things at home can quickly become "heated."

"There are so many debates at home whenever there are awards ceremonies", she stated.

This is particularly due to her and her twin brother starring in a soap rivalling Emmerdale.
