Coronation Streets Paul and Billy split sealed as old flame causes trouble

Coronation Street viewers have been left fretting for Paul Foreman and Billy Mayhew after an emotional Paul bumped into an old flame in a bar.

Paul, who's struggling to come to terms with his Motor neurone disease (MND), was left frustrated after his mum Bernie and partner Billy were bickering over religion versus crystals and Paul stormed out in a huff.

Heading for a drink to blow off some steam, Paul bumped into an old flame in hunky looking Zac – and it could mean bad news for Paul, and for Billy.

As the drinks kept flowing, Paul got flirtier with his ex boyfriend and viewers could already see that it was going to be a messy storyline…

Taking to Twitter, viewers were already predicting Paul's downfall when they spotted him bump into Zac in a bar.

One viewer tweeted: "Why on earth are they making Paul cheat?"

Another added: "Paul will regret this……"

"Paul, you'd best not have intentions on gettin' ya leg-over 'n cheating!"

Someone else shared: "Another invented character nobody has ever hear of. Just to make Paul and Billy's life more difficult."

A fifth added: "right like i can't lie paul's ex is fit as f*** but if one more person in this soap cheats this year i'm going to start questioning wtf is going on at corrie".

Viewers watched as Paul sank more and more drinks before leaving his jacket on a chair at the bar, with Zac spying the envelope of money from the chilli eating competition.

A drunk Paul found himself in a hotel room with Zac, before Zac made his move and planted a kiss. Whilst Paul pulled away and said "I don't cheat", viewers were still left worrying as Paul continued to drink and Zac kept pouring his alcohol away and acting suspiciously.

One viewer worried: "Paul really should have put that money in a safer place! Hes gonna be robbed."

Another added: "Paul is a complete and utter plank waving that money around for all to see.."

"That Zak is using Paul for his money Paul stupid enough to believe him," said a third.

Another wrote: "Why am I suddenly very uncomfortable for Paul.. please do not go where i am thinking this is going."
