Corrie: Stephen Reid hallucinates Sarah's face melting
It looks as though Coronation Street’s Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) is quickly moving on following his split from fiancée Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox).
Official spoilers for the soap reveal ITV viewers will see the Canadian businessman set his sights on Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews), whilst she remains unaware he killed her fiancé earlier this year.
In scenes set to air next week, there are celebrations all around at No.8 as Lily Platt (Brooke Malonie) has her birthday while Max Turner (Paddy Bever) passes his GCSEs.
As Stephen calls at the Rovers to invite Jenny to join him at a wine-tasting event later that evening, she’s thrilled and accepts the offer.
However, when she ends up at Lily’s birthday party she’s less than impressed that their idea hasn’t gone according to plan.

Will Stephen be able to win her around? Or has he blown his only chance with her?
Despite being engaged to Elaine, Stephen has always had a soft spot for Jenny as his fiancé clearly picked up on their chemistry.
Although this wasn’t the undoing of their relationship, as she learnt he had forged life insurance documents for her, wanting to cash in on her death that he was planning.
Deciding to take a break from the cobbles, Elaine left Weatherfield to get away from having to see Stephen.

With Elaine out of the picture, Stephen’s making it clear he’s interested in getting to know Jenny on a romantic level.
However, unbeknownst to her, Stephen is responsible for her fiancé Leo Thompkins’ (Joe Frost) disappearance.
Although she believes he ran away to Canada without her, the truth is much more sinister as Stephen accidentally killed him.
When Leo realised Stephen was lying to his family to try and get money from his mum, he threatened to expose him and go to the police.
As the two men argued on the top floor of the factory, Stephen pushed Leo over the railing, making him fall to his death.
This was the start of his Weatherfield killing spree as he then went on to kill Leo’s dad Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin) who came looking for answers on his son’s disappearance.
