Coronation Street spoiler pictures for next week confirm tough times ahead for Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), whose plot slowly starts to unravel as a number of residents grow suspicious about what he’s up to.
The week in question kicks off with the killer devising an alternative plot when a potential buyer for the factory explains that his wife’s life insurance policy won’t pay out after she took her own life.
Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox), meanwhile, calls off the engagement, worried that Stephen doesn’t love her. Stephen, however, begs for one more shot, suggesting a romantic break in the Peak District after an idea springs to mind, one which involves murder.
After giving it some thought, Elaine agrees to Stephen’s suggestion, but she soon starts to pile together his lies, confiding in Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), who prises open the killer’s metal box containing his files, horrified to find forged life insurance documents!
Is the game FINALLY up for the crazed cobbles killer? Tim certainly thinks so, as he confronts Stephen, holding him up against the wall, with a struggle ensuing between the two men.
But will Tim make it out of this showdown alive? And what about Stephen?

Elsewhere on the fictional street during this particular week, Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) is taken aback when Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) asks him to be his right hand man for new business plans with local entrepreneur Darren.
Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney), meanwhile, invites Aadi to a gala which leaves him delighted, but he soon has to let her down so that he can pick up Darren’s wife Courtney (Stephanie Davis), who he gets along really well with as they go for a kebab. Courtney agrees to help Aadi impress her husband but one thing soon leads to another as she leans in for a kiss!
Other developments include Spider Nugent’s (Martin Hancock) race against time to save Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor), which ends with a gunshot ringing out, while Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) makes a revelation to cousin Isabella.
