Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney has been trying to convince Jack James Ryan to return to the ITV soap just months after his exit.
The actor, 27, made his first appearance as Jacob Hay in 2021 but announced he had quit the soap after two years, with his final scenes airing in January 2023.
Realising he was being forced out of Weatherfield by his father Damon, the reformed drug-dealer pretended that he'd returned to his criminal ways and dumped his girlfriend Amy Barlow.

Leaving Amy heartbroken, Jacob left the street for good in the back of a taxi.
Despite Jack revealing he left the soap to pursue other opportunities, Amy actress Elle, 20, wasted no time trying to tempt him with a return.
Following an appearance on ITV's Lorraine, Elle reunited with Jack and created a TikTok alongside her former co-star.
In the clip, the duo could be seen lip syncing the words to the High School Musical track, I Want It All, which sees character Sharpay attempt to convince her brother Ryan to join her in pursuing their dreams.
"Me trying to convince Jack to come back to Corrie" the soap star wrote across the clip, adding in the caption: "Give the people what they want Jack #Jamy."
It's no surprise that Corrie fans were quick to back the idea, with many suggesting Jacob could return to help Amy following her horrific rape ordeal at the hands of Aaron.
One fan demanded: "He has to come back. Best Corrie character there's been in years. Plus he has to sort Aaron out for what he did to Amy."
"Plsss amy needs Jacob more than ever," added a second person.
Another viewer chimed in: "Yes Jack you have to come back poor Amy really needs you."
While a fourth echoed: "He needs to come back to help poor Amy."
