The Dancing With the Stars’ Peta Murgatroyd is no stranger to motherhood as the professional dancer has reached the second trimester of her second pregnancy. In a sweet social media post, Peta showed off her ever-growing baby bump as she promised: “There’s only one baby in there.”
Murgatroyd announced she and her husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy were expecting their second child at the beginning of the year.
Since her announcement, the mum-to-be has documented her current pregnancy, updating fans regularly via her social media.
In a recent update, the professional dancer showed off her blossoming baby bump to her 966k Instagram followers via a post to her story.
She sported a pair of black sweatpants with a matching black top, which was pulled up to expose her baby bump.
She also had a pair of sunglasses balanced on top of her head as her blonde locks were swept back into a slick bun.
Keeping her warm the star also wore a pair of tanned sheep-shin platform boots.
Murgatroyd’s post included some black and white text that read: “27-weeks… it’s wild. I promise there is only one baby in there”.
The dancer could be heard saying: “27 weeks with this baby. I cannot believe this. I still wake up sometimes and go wait a second, how, why? I’m just so grateful.”

In another pregnancy update this week, Murgatroyd shared some of the symptoms she has experienced during her second trimester.
The dancer posted a hilarious video of her mouthing a song that said: “What the f*** is that?” after revealing that her breasts had doubled in size since falling pregnant.
She captioned the post: “Mammas I KNOW you feel me on this one! I went from a B to a DDD overnight [three laughing emojis] Send help!!! LOL.”
Comments from fans flooded in as they sympathised with the mum-to-be under her post.
One fan @macyboltonseda reassured the star saying: “Don’t worry love, they go back down.”
With @samii37 commenting: “Try being this size everyday, it’s super expensive and i hate it.”
@gingersnap3303 wrote: “The PROBLEM is when they go back bc we all know they never TRULY go back to normal.”
While @shutterbug4488 said: “I miss my pre pregnancy boobies lol! They were the best. Now they are just sadddd lol.”
Murgatroyd and her husband Chmerkovskiy welcomed their firstborn Shai in 2017.
The couple later struggled to conceive naturally after sadly enduring three miscarriages and a failed embryo transfer.
But thankfully, at the beginning of the year, they experienced “immense joy” after successfully falling pregnant with their second child.
Her pregnancy announcement read: “It brings me immense joy to finally announce that @maksimc and I are expecting our Chmerkovskiy #2.”
Before adding: “After 2 years of constant struggle and heartache, 3 miscarriages and a failed embryo transfer…we have a healthy bun in the oven :)) It was a shock to all of us and we found out right before I was going in for my second round of IVF.” (sic)
