The Beckhams are well-known for their love of their pets, who form an important part of family life. However, yesterday Victoria Beckham appealed for help after discovering that one of her fluffy pooches was completely “out of control”.

Seemingly desperate for a dog groomer, she pleaded: “West London recommendations, please!”

She also added on the post, which tagged husband David Beckham and son Romeo: “Send help! My dog’s bush is out of control!”

Despite having lived in the ultra-exclusive Holland Park area of London for many years, it seems that the Beckhams – who have a £31 million mansion there – have run out of ideas for who could tame their furry friends’ coats.

Meanwhile, on another post, David complained about another of the family’s dogs over its penchant for kissing him – “always on the lips”.

In spite of moments when their pets may prove annoying, the Beckhams adore their canine companions.

Last April, they shared an insight into the bond they share with them as they wished their multi-million strong Instagram follower list a happy International Dog Day.

It seems to be Simba, the latest addition to the family, who urgently needs help with grooming.

Romeo previously shared a photo of the pup balanced on top of his head, while Victoria branded the new arrival “a real posh puppy”.

He has been with them since June 2021, while the family also share four other dogs – Fig, Sage, Olive and Logan.

Breeds preferred by the Beckhams include cocker spaniels and a German shepherd.

Simba even has his own designer dog toy, a bone emblazoned with the words “Chewy Vuiton” – a word-play on high fashion brand Louis Vuitton.

However, he doesn’t just stick to his own toys, as one of Victoria’s Instagram Stories last year proved.

He headed straight for a pricey £370 advent calendar loaded up with tiny luxury branded candles and attempted to demolish it, much to the former Spice Girl’s horror.

“This is mine, Simba, hands off!” the panicked-sounding star exclaimed as the naughty pup unexpectedly hijacked her video.

Mishaps aside, Victoria says that the pets are a large part of what constitutes a loving family.

She has also addressed past suggestions that she could be unhappy in her marriage, sparked by her trademark poker face in many of the photos published of her.

“If I really was as miserable as I look in some of those paparazzi pictures, my children wouldn’t be as happy as they are,” she assured Vogue Netherlands.

She added: “And I certainly wouldn’t be married anymore!”

Victoria and David, who also once had a pair of Rottweilers as pets, have been happily married for almost 25 years.

They tied the knot at a 1999 ceremony in Dublin, during which the couple perched on a pair of golden thrones.

More recently, David was one of the first to cheer on his wife as she debuted a new collection at Paris Fashion Week last month, and he spoke of being immensely “proud” of her achievements in the industry.
