Josephine has appeared in Death in Paradise twice before. Her character originally left the island after she struggled to grieve for the love of her life.
When she returned, things took an unexpected turn, when Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) told Florence he had feelings for her.
Despite telling the detective she loved him “as a friend”, Florence carried out a dangerous undercover operation which almost got her shot.
This led the police officer to move away for a fresh start, despite it being her second comeback on the BBC series.
It is unclear whether Florence will make a return, but in a recent interview with Express.co.uk, Tahj Miles, who plays Marlon Pryce said the “door is always open” for her.
“She is amazing. I would love for her to come back,” Tahj shared.
“There are so many characters…even Sara Martins in series 10 as Camille was a lot of fun.
“There is a lot of space for any of them to return, the door is always open.”
Death in Paradise is available to watch on BBC iPlayer and BritBox.
