Death in Paradise frenzy as Camille Bordey returns to set

Death in Paradise could see the return of fan-favourite Camille Bordey (played by Sara Martins) after her on-screen mother, Elizabeth Bourgine shared a behind-the-scenes video of them on set.

The clip. which is believed to be one from a previous series, has sent fans into a frenzy, with many suggesting it could mean Camille is returning to Saint Marie.

The actress wrote alongside the video: “Very good news. Go to @tmclachaine to see or rewatch #meurtresauparadis from the beginning.”

However, fans took to the comment section in droves to share their theories about Camille’s return.

User doromonaco asked: “Camille comes back?”

“Super, Camille is back,” heike_1812 wrote as scampjohn said: “Would love to see Camille in season 13.”

mccally_kirkin echoed: “Salut Camille!!!! Wonderful news.”

“It would be very nice to see Camille and Catherine together again looking forward to the new season,” ugowahine went on to say.

Camille ended up leaving Saint Marie after being offered a promotion in Paris. She later made a brief return after her mother was attacked.

She is yet to make another appearance, but the police officer was mentioned at the end of series 12.

Her mum and bar owner Catherine told Neville (Ralf Little) and the gang that Camille was expecting her first child.

While nothing has been confirmed, this could lead her to return in series 13.

Actor Tahj Miles, who plays Marlon Pryce, also teased the return of Sara, saying “the door is always open”.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the actor discussed Florence Cassell (Josephine Jobert) and Camille’s potential return, he shared: “Of course, Florence, I love Josephine Jobert.

“She is amazing. I would love for her to come back.

“There are so many characters…even Sara Martins in series 10 as Camille was a lot of fun.

“There is a lot of space for any of them to return, the door is always open.”

Death in Paradise will return later this year on BBC One.
