Dennis Wise says Love Island’s Sammy ‘not welcome’ in his house after making daughter Amber cry

Former football pro Dennis Wise had a few harsh words for Love Island’s Sammy Root after he dumped his daughter Amber.

Amber Wise, 19, entered the villa via Casa Amor earlier this week and, after finding a connection with Sammy, was taken back to the main villa.

However, Sammy still had unresolved feelings for Jess Harding, andafter a difficult conversation, made the decision to tell Amber that he was no longer interested in her romantically.

Amber is a graphic design student from Buckinghamshire and is the daughter of former Chelsea footballer Dennis Wise.

And Dennis was not too pleased at the way his daughter was “used” on the show and said that Sammy would not be welcome in his home.

“Let’s just say Sammy wouldn’t be welcome at home at present,” Dennis told The Sun.

“He’s not The One. Amber felt used I think and it’s disappointing to see as a father. There’s things I’ve looked at and gone ‘Jesus!’ but I’m doing all right at the moment.

He added: “I am protective of her, all fathers are of their daughters.”

Jess had been growing tired of Sammy’s games earlier in the week and finally sat down to ask him to commit to her.

The on-off pair have had an explosive connection ever since they first met on the ITV2 reality series, but were immediately drawn together.

However, the pair, both 22, found themselves arguing over the events of Casa Amor, with Jess asking Sammy to commit to her “100%”.

The conversation ended in an argument, with Sammy saying he needed some more time to think, but Jess didn't seem like she was willing to wait much longer for him.

Things look set to kick off at the series' infamous Movie Night, which sees the Islanders gather to watch clips from their time in Casa Amor.

In a further twist, it has even emerged that no couple will escape the fallout of movie night, with several explosive truth bombs set to decimate previously solid couples.

An insider told the Sun: "Some of the cast have been acting like there weren't cameras watching their every move.

"That is going to be very apparent soon when certain people's actions play out on the big screen. It's going to be messy.”
