Hollyoaks Bobby Costello star teases epic soap return months after dramatic exit

Hollyoaks star Jayden Fox has teased his potential return to the Channel 4 soap as Bobby Costello.

The child killer was sentenced to a minimum of nine years at a juvenile detention centre earlier this year following the murder of his grandfather Silas Blissett (Jeff Rowle) and the attempted killing of DeMarcus Westwood (Richard Blackwood).

Jayden's final scenes aired in April but he's since hinted that he could make a comeback as Bobby in the future.

The actor recently took part in a question and answer session with fans and shared his replies on his Instagram story.

One fan asked "Do you think you'll ever come back to Hollyoaks?"

Jayden replied: "Maybe one day."

Another follower asked: "When the time comes in a few years would you consider ever playing Bobby again after prison?"

"Yes maybe," the soap star replied.

Bobby's mum Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) has vowed to stand by her son despite his vile crimes.

In upcoming scenes, she receievs a shock call informing that Bobby has been beaten up in the children’s home.

She rushes to see James Nightingale (Greogry Finnegan) to get some help but the lawyer tells her he refuses after what Bobby did to Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara).

Mercedes is later offered help from Lacey Lloyd (Annabelle Davis) under one condition, her boss James doesn’t find out.

The worried mother is determined to get Bobby moved to another home but Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) thinks her cousin should be putting her energy into helping find John Paul’ McQueen's (James Sutton) attackers.

With Lacey off to help Mercedes, Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is left covering for her but when James' bad moodsees him lashing out at Lacey, the truth comes spilling out.

Lacey thinks that they might be in with a chance of getting Bobby moved, but when James comes storming into the McQueens, she's ordered back to work.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm or watch from midnight on All4
