Drag Race star Cheryl Hole hits back at vile comments about her appearance as she appears on Celeb MasterChef | The Sun

DRAG Race favourite Cheryl Hole has clapped back at vile trolls calling out her stint on Celebrity MasterChef.

The British BBC star, 29, took to her social media pages to lash out at the keyboard bullies who took aim at everything from her name to her appearance.

One cruelly raged: "This is outrageous what were the BBC thinking?"

Drag Race star Cheryl – real name Luke Underwood – took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to write: "People can continue to hurl abuse at me, liken my work to 'woman face' but at the end of the day this has all stemmed from me speaking up and using my platform on the hate that is directed to our community.

"And you’ve proved everyone right."

She added: "Please enjoy tonight’s episode.

The drag artist told the BBC how being on the show allowed the community to "have our voices and stories heard and show we're nothing to be feared."

She added: "I mean we're in a day and age where I feel like the movement is going a bit backwards, there's more hate crimes."

Last night, the show was embroiled in a fix row – which Cheryl was not part of.

Rudimental star DJ Locksmith – real name Leon Rolle – claimed he was useless in the kitchen and had just been watching his wife cook to practise.

But he ended up really impressing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace as he first cooked duck perfectly and then steak.

But not everyone at home is convinced he is such a novice, with one viewer commenting: “Don't do much cooking …b&*locks.”

Meanwhile, Cheryl's latest telly gig comes after her appearance on Christmas adverts, Towie and various web series, including Netflix’s I like to Watch UK

In July, 2020 Cheryl started her own podcast called Girl Group Gossip, which sees her joined by a new co-host and special guest every week.

In November 2021, the drag star was rumoured to be entering the jungle as reports emerged that I’m A Celeb bosses were looking to cast their first drag queen.

Drag Queen star Cheryl is engaged to fiancé Haydn.
