EastEnders’ Danny Walters reveals danger for Keanu ahead of whodunnit | The Sun

LISA Fowler came back to Walford with a plan to make Keanu Taylor pay for his actions and her plan involves using his daughter Peggy.

But could the EastEnders hunk played by Danny Walters get in deadly danger, sealing his fate ahead of Christmas?

BBC One viewers are counting the months before the London-based program celebrates Christmas with an explosive whodunnit teased in a grisly flashforward scene earlier this year.

Since it was announced, soap fans have taken to social media to figure out who could be the male victim laying dead in The Vic and with Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) wearing a wedding dress, many have suspected Keanu Taylor to be killed off.

But in most recent scenes, Keanu was seen finally making up for lost time with his young daughter Peggy following Lisa Fowler's (Lucy Benjamin) return to Walford.

Unfortunately, this involved him complying with all of Lisa's demands as she's determined to use Peggy to extort money from him.

However, during a chat with The Sun and other press, Danny Walters explained that Keanu would be willing to bend over backwards for his loved ones.

"Hopefully the audience see and have empathy for the character in the desperation and decisions that Keanu makes", the 30-year-old star said.

"The way I've played him is that he would be willing to fight, to take on the world to have his daughter, to have his children and the way I've always played Keanu from day one, on the Square is because Keanu never had a father figure growing up."

"Keanu is always wanting to be the dad that his dad wasn't. So I think he is very scared about going down the same tracks as his father", he added.

"Yeah, he'd be willing to fight anyone for anything to prove himself as a good dad. I think that's what he wants – to be a good dad."

But with betrayal, revenge and even murder being rife in the Square, could Keanu throw himself in a highly risky situation?

Could he take things a step too far?

While Danny remains tight-lipped about the upcoming Christmas storyline, he made it clear that his on-screen alter ego will encounter more conflict as his storyline goes along – but he won't be the only one to go through a rough patch.

"I think over the month you'll see a lot more conflict in relationships with other characters", he teased.

"There'll be other characters that will get themselves in situations where we'll start to question 'could it be them? Could it be them?'"

"But regarding that topic, my lips are sealed", Danny concluded.

Keanu isn't the only character who could be meeting a devastating end at the end of the year.

Since he returned to his wife Suki and their children, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) has made multiple enemies throughout Walford, much like his illegitimate son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
