EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street cancelled next week in schedule shake-up

EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street are in a huge schedule shake-up next week thanks to the Live FA Cup Football.

Next week, soap watchers will be disappointed to see Wednesday's episodes cancelled and instead replaced with football, which will be airing on both BBC One at 7:30pm and ITV at 7pm.

While EastEnders will be cancelled again on Tuesday for the Match of the Day Live: The FA Cup which will air at 7:30pm with Emmerdale going back to its old time of 7pm so Live FA Cup Football can air 7:30pm.

However, soap fans need not worry in missing out on their soap fix as Emmerdale will air a one-hour special on Friday, as well as its usual Thursday, to make up for Wednesday.

While EastEnders will air a double bill on Monday night and air an additional episode on Friday to make up for Tuesday and Wednesday's cancelled episodes.

It's an explosive time on the soaps next week as Stephen Reid's downfall is teased as his plan to spike Carla Connor's drink with LSD backfires.

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Amy Barlow and Aaron Sandford end up kissing, but pull back before things go too far. Later, however, they end up getting drunk together.

When Amy feels sick and heads to bed, Aaron climbs into bed next to her and Amy is unaware of what is unfolding.

Later we see his facade crumble and it’s clear that he is utterly bereft and broken. Unbeknownst to his nearest and dearest, Paddy is actually saying his veiled goodbyes.

When Bear discovers a letter Paddy has left him and Rhona Goskirk notices a bolt gun from the vet surgery has gone missing, Paddy’s friends realise what he is planning, but can they find him in time?
