EastEnders: Cindy returns to Albert Square
EastEnders fans have spotted clues which could point towards Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt) being the Christmas Day victim.
Ian is set to make a return to the Square very soon after it recently emerged that he had reunited with his ex-wife Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who was thought to have died back in 1998.
While the pair are currently living in France, it’s been confirmed their return to Walford is imminent.
Meanwhile, some viewers have pieced a few clues together and concluded Ian will be the man who is killed this Christmas.
Many took to social media to share their prediction, with Twitter user @Mrs7Wallis writing: “#Eastenders #bbc #flashforward #EastendersSix. It’s going to be IAN on the floor at Christmas with the #cufflinks after an accidental hit or a heart attack. I also reckon he walks Sharon down the aisle. @bbceastenders.”

@DavidMackayy wrote: “Ian is the dead body at Christmas I just feel it in my bones #eastenders.”
Another penned: “Ian Beale is the dead body at Christmas; Sharon’s gonna get her revenge for not killing him last time #eastenders.”
“What if the suit of armour in the flash forward represents… Cindy (AKA Rose Knight) and the body is Ian? It’s my back-up theory anyway,” another fan theorised.
@thequarantinee1 added: “Could you imagine if it was Ian killed at Christmas #Eastenders.”

@shawnlunn2002 shared: “There is no way they don’t have Cindy cheat on Ian with George. And that’s just the obvious thing they’ll do before Christmas. #EastEnders.”
The flash-forward episode saw six of Walford’s women gathered in The Vic with horrified looks on their faces as Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) kneels down to try to find a pulse on an unknown victim and announces: “He’s dead.”
Eagle-eyed fans have spotted during the brief flashforward that a figure of a knight was placed behind Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
Many are now predicting the clues could relate to Ian, and with the potential for so much drama surrounding his return, the theory is plausible.
EastEnders continues on Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
