While next week is set to be hugely emotional for EastEnders fans with Lola Pearce-Brown's heart-breaking death airing, there'll also be a new family arriving in Walford — and they're moving straight into the Vic.
George Knight, played by Colin Salmon, is making his entrance in Albert Square alongside his two daughters Anna and Gina (played by Strictly's Molly Rainford and newcomer Francesca Henry), joining his partner Elaine (Harriet Thorpe), who'll they'll be helping to run the legendary pub.
However, it seems as though some Walford residents are already familiar with George, who the likes of Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Winston (Ulric Browne) recognise as a championship boxer, according to The Sun.
Not everyone is pleased with the Knights' arrival however, with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) being blindsided when Elaine introduces George as her new fella, being unaware that her mother was planning on bringing her new family with her into the pub.
Harriet Thorpe made her debut as Linda's mother Elaine Peacock (who was previously played by Maria Friedman) earlier this year, with the new landlady seen in an episode last week making a private call to someone — who can be assumed to be George Knight — telling them that she misses them and can't wait for them to arrive.
Over the upcoming episodes, Linda and George are set to clash over his family's arrival as well as George's past, with the BBC teasing that "a shocking revelation from George provokes Linda to lash out".
In the episodes to follow, Linda will be going into detective mode, quizzing Anna and Gina on their life in Marbella before George finally opens up to Linda.
Meanwhile, Nish Pensar (Navin Chowdhry) finds himself butting heads with George after losing the chance to run the Vic to Linda and her mother — but should he be careful considering George's mysterious past?
The BBC announced the arrival of the Knight family back in March, revealing that Elaine Peacock would be secretly teaming up with her new lover George Knight and his two daughters Gina and Anna.
Colin Salmon, who is best known for his roles in the James Bond franchise, Prime Suspect, Doctor Who and Arrow, is making his EastEnders debut at the start of next month, while viewers will already be familiar with Harriet Thorpe, who is best known for her impressive career on the West End.
