EastEnders fans thought they’d seen a ghost on tonight’s episode of the BBC soap as bad boy Phil Mitchell returned from the dead.
Kat and Sharon had been left fearing the worst after Phil was being harassed by Craig in prison, who threatened to kill him.
Phil turned to Ravi and offered payment in exchange for backup but was left rejected by Ravi.
After a stunned Sharon learns he’s dead, she shares the news with an equally shocked Kat.
However, all wasn’t as it seemed when Phil suddenly turned up at Peggy’s.
Shocked fans took to Twitter comment on the major twist, with one commenting: “Watched Eastenders for the first time in years and Phil Mitchell comes back from the dead #eastenders
Another said: “Pill's come back… He aint dead!!!, Suprise Suprise!!!”
A third posted: “That’s one way to make an entrance! Phil’s not dead he’s back!!”
