EastEnders pictures – christening destroyed, two arrests & resident left to die

Sneak a first look at next week’s EastEnders with our picture gallery, which previews all of the drama in Walford to come, including one confirmed arrest with another potentially in the pipeline.

Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is reminded by Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) on the morning of the christening that there is big money on the table for the delivery job.

With Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar) having bought Albie expensive presents, Keanu feels like he has to step up and thus sets about transporting the drugs, turning up to the christening late, unaware that he was being tailed by authorities

The police subsequently arrest Keanu for intent to supply, much to Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) horror.

Ravi, meanwhile, receives word of what has transpired and begins to panic, fearing he could be in trouble with the law. After Keanu is released, Ravi collars him, demanding to know what’s happened. Keanu swears he never said a word but Ravi later takes revenge on the former mechanic, who is subsequently rushed to hospital.

The police later arrive at Walford East – but will an arrest be made?

Elsewhere, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) struggles with the thought of Janine Butcher’s (Charlie Brooks) sentencing, so Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) tries to distract her with some Coronation party talk, but it doesn’t work.

Linda is later left shaken by Janine’s sentence, with subsequent scenes seeing the landlady consumed by her loss, breaking down as she explains to Alfie that she cannot throw a Coronation party without Mick.

Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), however, has an idea to help, as he makes Mick an instrumental part of the Coronation celebrations.

EastEnders airs these scenes between May 1 and 5 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
