EastEnders spoilers – Fans all spot HUGE blunder as Janine gets Linda's baby taken away; plus Corrie and Emmerdale news | The Sun

UNREALISTIC scenes from EastEnders's Monday's episode have left fans baffled and frustrated by the BBC.

In a bid to ruin Linda, Janine has long-since been scheming against the struggling alcoholic in EastEnders.

Janine's aim is to win Mick and get Linda out of the picture completely; she's tempted Linda with alcohol, tried to kill her in a car crash and when that didn't work, she framed Linda for the crash.

Now that Linda has been let off, Janine's desperation has taken a turnas she's roped Jada in to get Linda's baby taken away in the hit BBC soap.

Monday was the last bank holiday before Christmas and yet, after planting empty alcohol bottles at Linda's home and proceeding to call Social Services, there were people there within 10 mins taking Linda's baby away.

According to The Mirror, fans didn't take kindly to the optimism and unlikely occurrence.

One fan of the show shared on Twitter: "Social services turning up within 10mins, on a bank holiday, searching a property AND taking a child out of harm’s way? Walford’s no Haringey, is it?!"

While another exclaimed outrage: "More #EastEnders social services b*******, it's also bank holiday Monday, so skeleton staff. You don't take the baby without the adult or without calling the police. You don't rock up and go tiny bruise "to the hospital" it's 2022 why are the BBC still getting this so wrong!"

Storm set to rip through Emmerdale

Producers have revealed a storm is set to rip through the village as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.

Producer Kate Brooks told The Sun: “As part of our big 50th week, we will focus on a massive storm that’s going to rip through the village and leave a massive trail of destruction in its wake.

“Some of our best loved villagers will be in peril and its safe to say that the village will never be the same after this.

“The impact this storm has on people’s lives is just massive. That is our big set piece stunt.

“Throughout all of this we also have stories that’ll be massive and peaking across the month of October. Two big centre pieces are the Woolpack and Home Farm.

“We are very keen to make sure that we have covered all the different characters and that all the families that are in the village are affected and impacting in some way by what happens during the month of October.”

EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt bags huge new job

Soap legend, Adam Woodyatt is to star in My Fair Lady and could land £500,000 — double his old soap salary.

Adam, 54 — Ian Beale in Walford — will play Eliza Doolittle’s dustman dad Alfred in 158 shows over nine months at up to £3,500 a pop.

He will appear with singers Charlotte Kennedy and Lesley Garrett, 67, in a UK tour after a run in London’s West End later this year.

Charlotte is Eliza, famously played by Hollywood great Audrey Hepburn in a My Fair Lady film in 1964.

An industry booker said Adam will be on £2,000 a show, rising with ticket sales.

At 70 per cent capacity he’ll get another £750, and another at 85 per cent.

The source said: “Adam’s a big-name so there’s no reason ticket sales won’t be buoyant.

“It’s a good deal for him. Theatre work’s hard but rewarding — and a lot more fun than the day-to-day slog of filming a soap.

“If the tour goes well he could become a stage star.”

Strictly winner Rose Ayling-Ellis ‘hit by show’s curse’

Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis may have been hit by the show’s love curse — with pals fearing she and boyfriend Sam Arnold have grown apart.

Brave Rose, 27, last year became the first deaf champion in the show’s history with dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

But friends say she and Sam appear to have become distant since she won Strictly Come Dancing in December.

A source said: “Rose and Sam drifted apart, especially after she became so busy with work projects and was in-demand with new work opportunities.

“They still have a lot of love and respect for each other, but they’re also still young and working out their lives.

“Rose went to Barcelona on her own to gather her thoughts and think about what she wanted. They have both grown as people since they first starting dating.

“This is Rose’s moment and she is grabbing life by the horns, focusing on her career and taking any opportunity that she can.”
