EastEnders fans are all saying the same thing after a newcomer was welcome into Walford this week.

Fans recently saw Nugget’s mum Priya burst onto the show and reveal to Ravi that he had a 14-year-old daughter. As Avani was introduced to dad Ravi and fans at home in tense scenes, some couldn’t help but notice the actress looked “much older” than her characters age.

“Why didn't they just cast an actual 14 year old instead of some who looks like there in the 20s?” said one fan. “I know Ravi, I find it hard to believe she’s a teenager let alone 14 #EastEnders,” penned a second.

A third added: “Are we really supposed to believe she’s 14? Nah!,” and “Yeah, shut up, World's Oldest 14 Year Old!” Ravi struggled to come to terms with learning he had a daughter and abruptly left, but Nish reasoned that it was a time to celebrate.

Later, Ravi and Priya shared a tense exchange where Priya revealed the dark reason she had left. Ravi insisted he would have done anything to be in his daughter's life and worried about what life she had had with a mother like Priya.

Ravi made an attempt to bond with Avani as they both opened up about the past. Later, Priya had a run-in with Ian at No.45 following a tryst with Peter after meeting him at Peggy's and returned to No.41 to decline Ravi's request to be a part of their daughter's life before leaving.

Later, Suki collapsed in despair at Nish's actions as she felt more trapped in her marriage than ever. Billy ran the idea of scattering Lola's ashes past Jay, but he bit back and lamented that everyone had moved on from her death besides him.

Jay got drunk and raised Honey's concerns before the pair had a heartfelt conversation about grief. Later, Jay met Nadine who assumed he was there for more drugs, but he revealed it was her he wanted and not the drugs. After the pair slept together, Jay was hit with guilt and sadness when Nadine revealed she had to leave as she had another client, and he wondered if he would ever move on from Lola.
