Emmerdale crash spoiler pictures 'confirm' major character exit in stunt

Filming is well underway for Emmerdale’s explosive stunt, set to air in October as part of this year’s Super Soap Week, and it’s not looking good for one character in particular.

Cast members Emma Atkins, Lawrence Robb and Jessie Elland, who play Charity Dingle, Mackenzie Boyd and Chloe Harris respectively, were all pictured on-location shooting the upcoming scenes, which will see the trio’s lives endangered.

A car is involved in the epic crash stunt, with Chloe’s life left hanging in the balance, quite literally, as her car teeters off a cliff before plummeting off the edge, much to the horror of Mackenzie, who watches on with terror.

Mack, who is sporting cuts and bruises, manages to make it out of the vehicle before it descends to the depths below, but he’s unable to rescue Chloe, despite trying desperately to do so.

Curtains for Chloe?

It certainly seems that way, as it’s hard to imagine anyone surviving such a horrific fall, as seen in these pictures.

Charity, who remains head over heels in love with Mack, is seen consoling her former flame, offering him support in the wake of what has transpired.

As for what else unfolds, fans will just have to wait and see, but it’s safe to say that Super Soap Week, like it always does, will change the very landscape of Emmerdale as we know it.

Mackenzie, as viewers know, broke Charity’s heart when the truth about him being Reuben’s dad was revealed just weeks after they tied the knot.

Despite being madly in love with Charity, Mack resolved to move on, embarking on a relationship with mother of his child Chloe, but passion ensued between he and Charity again last week.

Charity was left heartbroken once again when Mack decided to stay with Chloe in a moment that no doubt had viewers yelling at their TV screens, with the Woolpack landlady contemplating taking revenge.

But whether its Charity’s revenge that results in the horrific events to come or something else entirely remains to be seen.

Where exactly will this leave Mack and Charity? Are they set to reunite? Will they even make it out of this alive?

It was Super Soap Week in 2021 when the popular couple admitted their feelings for one another after a near-death experience, so could their romance come full circle and reach a shocking end two years on?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
