Emmerdale fans go wild as ‘Robron reunite’ amid heartbreaking Liv death scenes

Emmerdale fans have gone wild as Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden stars, affectionally nicknamed Robron by fans, have reunited for Liv Flaherty star Isobel Steele's leaving do.

Taking to Twitter after her character was killed off in heartbreaking scenes on Wednesday, Liv star Isobel shared snaps from her secret leaving do with one picture seeing her pose with Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley, who played Aaron and Robert – otherwise known as Robron.

Isobel tweeted: "My Leaving meal. It was such a perfect night xxx."

The soap star also shared other photos with co-stars, including Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle, Rosie Bentham, who plays Gabby Thomas, and Lawrence Robb, who plays Mackenzie Boyd – to name a few.

Emmerdale fans were quick to react to the snaps and went wild over the Robron reunion at Isobel's leaving do.

One person said: "THAT PIC… pretending liv, aaron and robert got a happy ending together 🙁 you'll be missed. liv was so loved!!"

A different account put: "Awhh #roblivion – all the best for your future projects Izzy."

Another follower wrote: "Great to see roblivion reunited!"

While a different viewer added: "My heart skipped a beat when I saw this!!!!!!! @Isobel_steele your post made me SOOOOO happy!!! #Robron #Roblivion."

Aaron star Danny recently made a comeback to the village for the ITV soap's 50th anniversary after his character left in emotional scenes last year following the murder of his on-screen boyfriend Ben Tucker by evil serial killer Meena Jutla.

Viewers will recall that Aaron's onscreen and ex-husband Robert (played by Ryan) is in prison after killing his sister Victoria's (Isabel Hodgins) rapist in 2019.

Only recently, Danny teased a potential Robron reunion as he was asked whether he would have liked Robert star Ryan to have also returned for the 50th.

The actor told OK! and other press: "Yeah, it would have been nice. I sort of had in my mind, when my agent spoke to us, and she'd mentioned that there was going to be a lot of action-packed stuff for this 50th [anniversary], which there is.

"But I imagined it being some sort of crazy action, just to really sort of step outside. Maybe Aaron could have turned up and had kidnapped Robert out of prison.

"It was just stupid talk. I was actually talking to Ryan [Hawley] about it. No, it would have been really nice to have him back, but I think it's near impossible, isn't it?"

Teasing a potential theory, Danny added: "Well, other soap characters have done that before haven’t they, suddenly the actor comes back six years later, on an eight year stretch, so there’s always ways and means in soap!"

Talking about how popular Robron were on the ITV soap and the impact the couple had on viewers, Danny added: "I think we were talking about it randomly on a podcast not so long ago, and we were talking about [the impact of] on-screen couples.

"I think 'icons' isn't the right word, but I can't think of anything else. Maybe role models as the characters is what I’m talking about.

"Robert and Aaron kind of had a relationship that was represented by so many people out there, and it really helped change some people; people still tell me that now.

"It was kind of always going to be a question I think I was asked: 'How’s Robert?' They were a great couple and it was nice to be a part of, [and] share it with Ryan."
