Lorraine: Emmerdale's Jacob fights for his life
Emmerdale viewers are certain they have worked out what will happen between Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe Warren Plant) and Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) on the ITV soap – and it seems sinister.
On Tuesday night’s instalment of Emmerdale, Victoria was relieved to see Jacob was making a recovery following a severe allergic reaction to nuts the previous day.
She felt terrible as she had assured him the food she’d prepared had no traces of nuts in it before he took a bite.
Jacob’s parents David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) were worried sick when Jacob went into anaphylactic shock on Monday’s episode.
Leyla erupted at Victoria when the latter admitted it was her fault Jacob almost died.

However, David, who used to date Victoria appeared slightly more understanding of the situation.
It appears David wants his ex back, but she split up with him last year when she caught him out in a web of lies.
When Victoria went to check on Jacob during the latest episode in hospital, it soon became clear he had feelings for her.
It looks as though the pair have been messaging each other – could they be in a secret relationship? Or is Victoria not interested in Jacob romantically as he is the son of her ex David?

Fans took to Twitter with their theories about how the storyline will unravel ahead of David’s exit from the soap.
Eli penned: “Please don’t tell me they’re going to have an affair or is Jacob going to become obsessed with her #emmerdale.”
Teena Massam shared: “No, that’s just wrong, stop it Jacob and Victoria… #emmerdale.”
Another fan wrote: “Jacob’s falling for Victoria now too, didn’t see that coming… I wonder if this is why David leaves.”
Sarah remarked: “What’s with Jacob and his dad’s/David’s girlfriends? Please tell me we’re not doing this again. #Emmerdale.”
