Amelia (Daisy Campbell) has been making secret visits to Noah (Jack Downham) in prison on Emmerdale for a few weeks now. He was initially surprised to see her, as he’d sent the visiting order to Gabby (Rosie Bentham). Amelia had used that visiting order and Gabby’s ID to gain access to the prison as she was so determined to see Noah.
As the visits have gone on, Noah has apologised for his earlier obnoxious behaviour towards Amelia and a nice little friendship has apparently been building, with Noah promising to stand by Amelia after he gets out of prison in a matter of days.
Amelia is very much in need of a friend, as she recently made the shock discovery that she’s pregnant. She hasn’t told anyone yet – not even Noah during her prison visits, but we are of course wondering whether Noah could be the father…
Which brings us to Noah’s mum Charity (Emma Atkins), who’s seen in this spoiler video telling Amelia that she knows all about her visits to the prison.
Charity wants to know all the details about what’s going on between Amelia and Noah but Amelia protests, ‘We’re just mates, that’s all.’
‘All that effort for a mate?’ Charity replies, explaining she’s sad because Noah didn’t want her to visit.
Charity wants to know all about how her son is and Amelia explains he’s doing well and he’s on an electricians’ course. And the big bombshell – he’s coming out in a couple of days. ‘Am I the last to know everything round here?’ Charity says, before storming out.
