Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) tells Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that her cancer has returned and obviously, as this new Emmerdale video shows, the siblings are struggling to process the news.
When Moira (Natalie J Robb) became the first person to discover Faith’s secret, she immediately wondered why she hadn’t told her children.
Because of the fractured relationships Faith has with Cain and Chas, she was adamant she wanted to fix things with them first and spend happier moments with her children before breaking the news to them that she’s dying.
Sadly, Faith doesn’t get what she wants as this new video reveals what happens next after Cain and Chas learn their mum has cancer again.
With Faith putting on a brave smile, she tells Cain and Chas that she’s constantly uncomfortable as the cancer infects her body and the chemotherapy attempts to fight it.
Cain then grows curious, wondering why his mum is having chemo if she only has months left.
An honest, sensitive conversation soon goes out the window as Cain and Chas get into an argument, leading to him leaving.
It’s going to take a while for Cain and Chas to come to terms with their mother’s news, but will Faith get what she wants before the inevitable happens?
Can she mend the relationships with her children?
