Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) has had a difficult time as of late on Emmerdale, having said his final goodbyes to his mum Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), who died of cancer. Following the dramatic events of the 50th anniversary, there is still more shocking moments to come, this time involving Cain’s sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter). With Hordley having plenty of screentime recently, it’s no wonder that ITV fans want to know all there is about the actor behind Cain.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Emmerdale.

How tall is Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley?

According to Celeb Heights, Emmerdale actor Jeff Hordley is just over 5ft 11in tall.

But in an interview back in 2001, he rounded up his height, stating: “I’m 6ft tall, and normally I weigh 12 and a half stone.”

Four years later, Hordley, aged 52, clarified that he stood at “nearly six foot”.

He is fairly taller than his onscreen other half Moira Dingle actress Natalie J Robb who is around 5ft 5in.

Hordley is married to fellow Emmerdale star Zoe Henry who plays Rhona Goskirk in the drama.

There is a great height difference between the married duo, as Henry is roughly 5ft 1in.

He is roughly as tall as Paddy Kirk star Dominic Brunt who is also 5ft 11in and taller than David Metcalfe actor Matthew Wolfenden who is 5ft 8in.

The tallest member of the current Emmerdale cast is Marlon Dingle actor Mark Charnock who is 6ft 2in.

Cain went through emotional turmoil with the passing of his mum and is still dealing with his grief.

But there is plenty more drama to come as the show is still marking its 50th anniversary.

It has been teased that Cain is going to discover his sister Chas’ affair with his nemesis Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) when he listens to a message from him, which was meant for her.

A trailer for an upcoming episode shows the moment that their feud finally reaches its climax.

Having listened to Al’s message for his sister, Cain threatens him in the barn, taking with him a gun.

He bluntly tells Al: “You’re not going to be seeing her again.”

Cain and Al start to fight with one another when the former is seen reaching for the gun again.

So will their bustle end with the death of these key characters as a shot is fired?

It has already been teased that there are some life-changing moments to come.

Actress J Robb told RadioTimes that there is “a lot more drama” to come.

Producer Laura Shaw added: “There is going to be a lot of heartache involved in October and the rivalry between Cain and Al is really going to step up a gear.

“Al and Chas have grown a lot closer now, but will their affair finally be exposed?

“Viewers will have to wait and see!”

Emmerdale continues four nights a week at 7.30pm on ITV.
