During Monday’s episode of This Morning, actress Louise Jameson sat down with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary to chat about her upcoming storyline in Emmerdale.
Louise’s character, Mary came out as gay last year and has since fallen for newcomer Faye (Jane Gurnett).
However, despite meeting Mary’s family, Faye is trying to scam her new love and the villagers out of money.
When speaking about her storyline in the ITV soap, Alison asked: “Mary’s got herself into a pickle, is it going to get worse?”
Louise teased: “I think so. It’s going to get very much worse. Blood and everything.”
“Emmerdale always delivers,” Dermot chipped in.
The soap star went on to address the importance of her storyline and what it has been like for her to play.
Alison went on: “We are so excited about Mary and what’s going to happen and you’ve already told us there’s going to be blood.
“Is it quite frustrating playing a character where she’s making all the wrong decisions?”
