Emmerdales Charley Webb unveils new cropped hairdo as she ditches long locks

Emmerdale's Charley Webb has ditched her long locks for a new stunning cropped hairdo.

The actress, 34, who played Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap and is married to Matthew Wolfenden, took to Instagram on Thursday to unveil her hair transformation.

Posting to her Stories, Charley shared a video of her short brunette locks which has subtle blonde balayage as she posed to the camera.

The soap star penned about her new hair: "Not sure if this is a bit too bouncy blow for me. Like, I want beachy not done look. This looks like a full blow dry right now."

Charley also shared another look at her locks on Friday, writing: "I'm done. My hair's been down for 2 days blowing all over the place. Compromising with half up."

The actress revealed last year that she had quit Emmerdale after 19 years of playing Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap.

In January 2022, the actress finally addressed rumours that she had quit the long-running ITV series as she answered a question from a fan during a Q&A session she participated in on Instagram Stories.

Posting a photo of herself with husband and fellow Emmerdale star, Matthew, and their three children Buster, 12, Bowie, seven, and Ace, three, Charley explained her decision behind leaving the soap.

“This is always my most asked question but I’ve never answered it before because I’ve never wanted to make a big deal of it,” she captioned.

“I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year.

"I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t.”

More recently, Charley returned to television screens in BBC drama Better, playing the role of Elise.

Elsewhere, the star was forced to close down her "dream" business after opening it up with her husband back in 2020 earlier this year.

Charley set up Nordi Baby, which sells Scandinavian-style wooden children’s toys, with her husband Matthew and his brother David just three years ago.

Taking to Instagram, Charley said: “@nordi_babi is closing. I’ve loved this chapter and the journey it’s taken us on but we just don’t have the time to run it the way we want to.”

“I love everything Scandi so this has been a dream,” She added.
