TELLY star Danny Miller company can’t afford to pay back part of a £50,000 loan taken out during the Covid crisis – despite winning I’m a Celebrity.

The Emmerdale favourite's firm borrowed the money as part of the Bounce Back Loan scheme.

Danny, 32, took out the maximum £50,000 based on earnings of £200,000.

The loans were doled out by banks but underwritten by the treasury should borrowers default.

And we can reveal that the business still owes £18,000.

The Sun has seen documents Danny has signed where he claimed his company's assets are 'nil', so the firm cannot pay back the loan.

This week Danny took to Twitter to complain of ill-health.

Danny, who played bad boy Aaron Dingle in the long-running ITV soap, shared a health update as he admitted to feeling "the worst he's ever felt in his life".

The former King of the Jungle opened up to fans on social media as he discussed his experience with the horrible illness and asked if anyone else had experienced anything similar.

The actor, who won the Best British Soap Award for Best Actor three times for his work on Emmerdale, said the illness that has floored him for the past few days is "like Covid x10".

Danny penned: "HELP! I've felt the worst I've ever felt in my life these last few days. Like covid x10! But not covid! Has anyone been in the same situation? Please tell me it gets easier. Day 3 now.”
