Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Adam Whitehead.
The actress, 30, who has played Victoria Sugden on the ITV soap since 2006, shared the happy news on Saturday (November 25) with a video taken just moments after Adam popped the question. In the clip, the couple could be seen having dinner as Adam placed the ring on his partner's finger.
Isabel then leant across the table and planted a kiss on her husband-to-be. The soap star gushed in the caption: "The most incredible night of my life. I said yes to marrying my best friend.

"My kind, sweet, patient and generous perfect person. I can’t wait to spend forever with you." Isabel received an abundance of messages from her friends and co-stars who couldn't wait to congratulate them on their engagement.
Mackenzie Boyd star Lawrence Robb commented: "This is incredible news! I’m utterly thrilled for you both!!! Xxxx." Rosie Bentham, who plays Gabby Thomas, wrote: "Stop it !!!!!!!!" Vinny Dingle actor Bradley Johnson shared: "Yesssss!!! Congratulations."
Fellow Emmerdale star Laura Norton, best known for her role as Kerry Wyatt, chipped in: "Unbelievable. Best news. 30s looking good." Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, who made his debut as Suni Sharma earlier this year, echoed: "INCREDIBLE! Congratulations to you both." While Tracy Metcalfe star Amy Walsh penned: "Omg!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!"

Isabel has been relatively private about her relationship with Adam, but she went Instagram official with their romance in December 2022. Adam remains mostly out of the spotlight, but it's clear he's a keen runner like his partner as the two regularly challenge themselves together, running the Manchester 10k in May and tackling the Yorkshire Tough Mudder obstacle course in July.
In October, Isabel admitted that Adam was an influence in her decision to start running. After completing a half marathon, Isabel wrote on Instagram: "The reason I run is all his fault. He was training for a marathon….
"I thought he looked lonely on the treadmill….It took me 37:37 to run a 5k. 8 months later and today I ran a half marathon in 2:01:30…which I’ll happily take."
Prior to her relationship with Adam, Isabel dated former co-star Michael Parr for four years. Michael joined the show in 2013 when he landed the role of Ross Barton. The couple split in 2018 after Michael quit Emmerdale and moved to America.
