Emmerdale: Jacob Gallagher and Victoria share a kiss
Emmerdale’s David Metcalfe (played by Matthew Wolfenden) is set for the ultimate betrayal as his son decides to get involved with his ex-girlfriend Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins).
Over the past few weeks, fans of the ITV soap have watched as Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren-Plant) confessed he had feelings for Victoria, who he used to see as a stepmother figure.
Although the pair have managed to stay apart from one another, it looks as though they give into temptation in upcoming scenes.
Official spoilers reveal that next week, David accidentally agrees to go on a second date with a woman called Abby, who he met on a dating app as he continues to try and get over Victoria.
Turning to his son for help, he asks Jacob to make excuses for him on why he can’t attend the date.

Feeling sorry for Abby, Jacob offers to have a drink with her out of sympathy as Victoria watches on with jealousy.
When Abby leaves, the chemistry between Jacob and Victoria is undeniable and it’s not long before they share a passionate kiss.
Realising they shouldn’t be crossing that boundary, she quickly pulls away from Jacob and leaves.
Meanwhile, Jacob is left thrilled as he realises his feelings are clearly being reciprocated.

Later on, David has a false sense of hope that something is still there between himself and Victoria as he takes her words of comfort as something more.
However, when Victoria and Jacob meet again, she can’t bring herself to let him leave and they share yet another kiss, which leads to something more.
The following day, it’s clear David is still hung up on Victoria despite Pollard’s (Chris Chittell) attempts to get him to move on.
Adamant to make things work between them, he sets off to see her, not knowing Jacob has spent the night.
Both Victoria and Jacob are shocked at David’s unexpected arrival as she manages to awkwardly get rid of him.
When Jacob speaks to David later on, he’s relieved to hear that he’s accepting things with Victoria are completely over.
However, once he leaves, it’s clear that this is not actually the case, as his feelings for Victoria are still present.
With things starting to get serious between Jacob and Victoria, his mum Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) starts to grow suspicious of his secret girlfriend; this isn’t destined to end well.
