EastEnders' Eve Unwin is set for a shock when she finds out the true identity of her date, the show's spoilers have revealed.
Eve's love life has been on the backburner since she was seeing Suki Panesar.
However, after a woman came looking for her in Walford, she has been tempted to get back into the dating game.
In the episode, which is to air on Wednesday, 16 August, Eve is set for a date with ‘Amanda’ who is actually a woman called Caroline.
To kick off the episode, Stacey Slater is unaware of the date and only finds out about it when Eve leaves her phone unattended.
However, when she speaks to Eve about it, Eve is certain that she can't go because Stacey has received another letter from her stalker.
Worried for Stacey's safety, Eve insists that she can't go and leave her best friend.
However, Stacey urges Eve to go on the date, and to help her get ready for it, Stacey lends her an outfit.
Unfortunately for Eve, the date doesn't go as well as she hoped, and it is awkward.
As she goes to leave, 'Amanda' stops her and reveals all about her identity to a shocked Eve.
How will Eve react to what she is being told?
Elsewhere on the Square, Alfie Moon is struggling as he worries about his health.
In a bid to distract himself, he tries to help his good friend, Linda Carter, after she decides that she wants to go for custody of her late partner Mick Carter's baby.
Viewers will recall that Janine Butcher ended up pregnant with Mick's baby, but she is now in prison.
Following on from Linda's decision, Alfie offers to meet a solicitor with her to help and support her.
Linda doesn't have the support of her family, as her mother, Elaine Peacock rubbishes the idea. Will Linda succeed in her mission?
The distraction doesn't last long for Alfie as he heads back to the hospital for some results, missing Linda's meeting.
When he returns from the hospital, Alfie decides to get drunk at Peggy’s and has a falling out with Phil Mitchell.
After his falling out with Phil, Alfie makes his way over to the Vic to apologise to Linda for missing her chat with the solicitor.
What has happened to Alfie at the hospital?
Avoiding the drama that is going on elsewhere on the Square Vinny, Panesar organises a pamper session at Fox & Hair for his mum Suki, after she opened up about her feelings.
