Ferne McCann breaks down in tears as she admits shes lost her confidence

Ferne McCann got emotional on Wednesday's final episode of ITVBe show First Time Mum as she met with expert Lydia Kimmerling to start her certified life coach course.

During the instalment, Ferne, 32, revealed that the course was a "wonderful focus" and way to "leave the past behind" her, also enabling her to handle anything in the future.

Talking to Lydia, Ferne said: "For me, I have had these massive traumas that I feel like have happened to me, have massively shaped who I am. I want to share that with people, to be able to help them in some way, navigating how."

Ferne added: "I am so known for my failed relationships, stuff that's been in the press recently."

Talking about the past few months, which involved the leaked voice notes scandal, the star continued: "If you went back a few months ago, everything felt really chaotic? And you just explained it so beautifully. Okay [now] I have landed, I now need to find myself again and be like: 'Who is Ferne?"

Lydia then asked Ferne what she values in life, to which the star got overwhelmed as she admitted: "I've never really had to think about this, sorry. I don't even know what I value?

"I feel really silly that I don't even know what to say right now…"

Lydia then told Ferne there is no "right answer" and being brave and open can also mean being vulnerable.

To which Ferne broke down in tears, admitting: "I'm really sorry, it's just like, so, I've always got the answer, I'm always really confident. I feel like I've totally lost my confidence?"

After some work together, Ferne revealed that she values ambition and she added in a VT that she didn't realise the course would "dig deep", allowing her to do some "soul searching".

The star continued: "I also don't wanna just be forever known as that girl that makes mistakes" to which the coach pointed out she has changed.

With Ferne declaring: "I have changed, I actually have changed! I've worked really hard to make that change and mature, I should be really proud of myself."

She added: "I already feel more confident" pointing out that this was a turning point for her.

Ferne McCann: First Time Mum airs tonight at 9pm on ITVBe, catch up on the series so far ITVX.
