FIONA Phillips has blasted the "absolute losers" who scammed her for thousands of pounds amid her Alzheimer's Disease battle.
TV favourite Fiona yesterday made public how she had been diagnosed with the condition aged 61.
This week we reported how the ex GMTV anchor, now 62, had hid the devastating diagnosis from her two sons.
The presenter revealed that she was targeted by rogues who "raided" her bank account as she got to grips with her condition.
Fiona candidly opened up on her additional heartache and told MirrorOnline: "Unfortunately, I recently became part of that cost following a phone call from a charming lady (see what they did there?), who was, apparently, 'just checking up' that I was still happy with their service, and was there anything else they could do to make it even better?
"Turns out they had raided my account which has made everyday life pretty hellish and hugely inconvenient, not to mention making me feel like a prize idiot for believing their grasping, horrible lies."

She added: "I’m still feeling gut-churningly jittery and invaded, and more than a little bit stupid, but then I trust people and wouldn’t dream of robbing a stranger, making their lives an inconvenient misery like the low-life no-hopers who make our hard-working lives hell."
Giving a mission to the low-life scammers, she added: "Get a job like the rest of us, you absolute losers…"
Despite the stressful ordeal, Fiona has received huge support from the TV community after revealing that she is battling the same condition that "ravaged" her family..
Lorraine Kelly paid tribute to her "quite amazing" fellow broadcaster while GMB anchor Susanna Reid sent her best wishes to the star.

The broadcaster is best known for being the lead anchor, alongside Eamonn Holmes, on GMTV in the 90s and early noughties.
Fiona joined the show in 1993 as entertainment correspondent, but hit the big time when she was promoted to being the ITV breakfast show's main host.
But in August 2008, Fiona announced that she was to leave GMTV for "family reasons".
Both of Fiona's late parents – Neville and Amy – died from Alzheimer's, and she has tragic memories of their deterioration.
The cruel blow, which Fiona has been secretly living with for 18 months, has come earlier in life than she had anticipated.
She said: “It’s something I might have thought I’d get at 80. But I was still only 61 years old.
“I felt more angry than anything else because this disease has already impacted my life in so many ways; my poor mum was crippled with it, then my dad, my grandparents, my uncle. It just keeps coming back for us.”
She is being supported by her husband Martin Frizell, 64, who is the editor of ITV's This Morning.

He said he "felt sick" upon learning of the diagnosis.
Fiona, who is mum to sons Mackenzie and Nathaniel, added: “It’s a horrible bloody secret to divulge.”
