FOUR in a Bed viewers were left shocked at the additional fee that guests had to pay for breakfast, especially since they were expected to prepare it themselves.
The Channel 4 show gave us in insight into Sawcliffe Manor in Lincolnshire, which was run by Jana and Emily.
The manor, which viewers learnt has been in Emily’s family for 500 years, had seven rooms for guests to stay in which were available for up to £110 a night.
Guests were blown away by the grand exterior and the extra spa on site.
However the guests were stunned to discover that they were also required to pay an additional £25 for breakfast, which they had to put together on their own.
The owner clarified the £25 extra was charged per room, not per guest.

The guests wondered what type of food they will be getting.
Emily said: “You guys are going to be delivered a world of local produce, Lincolnshire sausages, bacon from here as close as it can get.
“You’ll be eating together and cooking together.”
Vegan guest Karlie had limited options available and wasn't impressed by not offering vegan butter and vegan milk.

Karlie commented: “I think for meat eaters, they probably get more for their money, me being vegan I’m interested to see what that entails.”
Her only option was toast with jam on and some fruit, whereas the meat-eaters got a lot more for their money getting a full English fry up.
The food which was available included Danish pastries, strawberries, granola, yoghurt, bacon and sausages that they had to cook themselves.
There were no complaints but guests were missing their salt, tomatoes, beans and sauces.
Rob questioned the other guests to see whether or not they thought for £25 they’d expect food to be cooked for them.
But it looked as though viewers didn’t share the same outlook as they were happy to cook for themselves as it adds to the "family aspect."
However viewers shared Rob's view as many were appalled by the extra charges and self service breakfast.
Taking to Twitter, one said: “Sorry but it’s bad enough when breakfast is an extra £10 but £25 [sic] taking the p** !! #fourinabed”
Another wrote: “For £25 I'd want it cooked for me and served for me. #fourinabed and I'd expect sauce etc.”
A third penned: "This breakfast set up for £25 is daylight robbery.”
When it came to feedback, all guests revealed they would stay again with Karlie suggesting the idea of including more vegan options.

Commenting on how more people are turning to veganism, Emily said: “I think we can do better.”
