Gemma Owen's boast about dating 'way older men' has Love Island fans thinking the same thing about dad Michael | The Sun

LOVE Island fans were left mortified for Gemma Owen’s dad Michael as she boasted about dating older men on last night’s show.

The 19-year-old, who is coupled up with Davide, 27, was speaking about their age gap when she admitted he “wasn’t her first” older gent.

Curious to know how she felt about it, Davide questioned: “What do you think about the fact I am much older than you?”

She confidently replied: "Your age is not an issue for me at all, I feel like if it was I wouldn’t have wanted to get to know you in the first place and as I said I have been speaking to guys and seeing guys…

He added: “That are much older than you…”

“Yeah it’s not something I am not used to or you are the only one or anything like that. It is very normal for me,” Gemma continued.

Speak ITV News about this daughter doing Love Island, football pundit Michael previously said: “I have no doubts that she will make us all proud. It’s probably a father’s worst nightmare, but whatever she wants to do you’ve got to be supportive.

"It's been different without her in the house. I've got other
kids and my wife and it's been quite tough because she's had to switch her phone off and we've had no contact for a couple of weeks so that's been the hard bit.

“I’ve heard a lot about it. I think old, grumpy men like me will always have an opinion on it because I don’t watch it and you just hear snippets, but she assures me it’s not as bad as I think. So, we'll give it a watch and I hope she enjoys herself."
