TOP Gun star Glen Powell and his model girlfriend Gigi Paris have split up after three years together.
The break up comes amid intense fan speculation about Glen and co-star Sydney Sweeney's relationship due to their sizzling chemistry off set.
However, a source has told US outlet People that Sydney was nothing to do with the separation, rather their long distance relationship was to blame.
Glen had been filming rom-com Anyone But You in Australia with Sydney, and prior to that he was away from home filming Box Office smash Top Gun with Tom Cruise.
The writing had been on the wall before now with the pair separating multiple times before calling it quits for good.
The insider said: "Gigi and Glen had broken up several times. They had been on the rocks since Top Gun came out. Gigi was never happy with the long distance filming and when she came to Australia they both decided to break up for good."

Yesterday fans spotted Gigi had unfollowed Sydney on Instagram and claimed it was further proof of friction between them.
However, another source said: "Gigi only unfollowed Sydney on social media because Sydney never followed her back. This had nothing to do with Glen and Sydney. Gigi is aware that Glen and Sydney never hooked up."
The couple began dating pre-pandemic in January 2020 after they were seen vacationing in Mexico together.
Yesterday, Gigi made a public post that appeared to be a dig at her now ex.

She posted a video of her on Instagram gracefully strolling down a street while she smiled and twirled, captioning it: "Know your worth & onto the next".

The barbed comment could be in response to a heavily shared video of Glen and Sydney, who is engaged to multimillionaire restaurateur, Jonathan Davino, hanging out and having fun on a couch.
In the short clip, which first appeared on Monday, Sydney is lying across Glen's lap in a slinky dress as he dips her back toward the floor while giggling.
Romance rumours weren't helped by a flirty exchange at a Vegas film convention this week where Glen declared he loves it when Sydney calls him "Top Gun".
Teasing their new film at the convention, Glen also joked: "Anyway, as you could probably guess, this movie's about two people that hate each other. Sydney plays a character [who is] a real nightmare."
Sydney joked that Glen's character is a real "a*****e."
Glen then quipped: "And what better place to put a nightmare and an a*****e than on the other side of the world in the most romantic setting imaginable?"
Model and influencer Gigi added fuel to fan fears she and Glen have split by sharing break-up anthems Respect and Silver Springs by Aretha Franklin and Fleetwood Mac, respectively, on Instagram.
