Gogglebox’s Amy Tapper showcases whopping weight loss in dramatic new snaps

Gogglebox’s Amy Tapper has recently revealed that she has lost three stone in six months by eating more food.

The former reality TV star admitted that she was “a bigger build” when she was younger and “always aware of her size”.

She burst onto our screens at just 13-years-old and received online trolling by bullies that commented on her weight.

Amy said that she used to scour social media looking for nasty comments and some of them were even aimed at her father.

She said: “My dad and I would both get nasty comments about our weight and I’d also get people criticising my voice for being too loud. It was quite upsetting. There were people on Twitter calling us ‘the fat family from Gogglebox’ but my mum and my brother have never had any problems with their weight.”

The former TV personality took matters into her own hands and has since lost a whopping three stone in just half a year.

She is down 18cm on her waist, 11cm on her chest and 9cm on her hips since starting a MuscleFood Goal Getters meal plan.

Amy continued: “Everyone seems to be interested in my weight loss and ask questions about it. Most of the time they mean well but there can be nasty comments as well. Luckily I have some amazing supportive people around me so I have been able to deal with it.”

She said that more recently it has “come full circle” on social media as people are now “sharing her weightloss journey, goals and progress”.

Tapper called it “an amazing feeling” when people “thank her for being their inspiration,” but urged fans to avoid diets and overhaul their eating habits instead.

She claimed that “a lot of diets she had tried just weren’t healthy” and only provided her with “a quick fix” as she’d “drop a stone or two and that was it,” which made it “hard to progress beyond”.

Instead, she made a “positive lifestyle change” which helped her achieve her weight loss goal.

Amy explained: “I used to find healthy eating hard due to having a social life and constantly being out with my friends and I then realised that mindset was what was holding me back. I used to think to myself: ‘When is the right time?’ then I realised that I had to make it the right time.”

The star regularly updates her fans with her progress online.
