Good Morning Britain star reveals they’re taking break from the show | The Sun

A GOOD Morning Britain star has revealed they are taking a break from the show – to the disappointment of her fans.

The resident meteorologist admitted she was having a few days off as she failed to appear on the show on Monday.

Fan-favourite presenter Laura Tobin took to her Instagram stories to reveal she wasn't heading to the ITV studio.

The weather expert explained she had taken some time off over half term as she posted from a beach.

Filming the tide washing over the sand, Laura, 41, said she was having "half term fun" instead of "weather updates".

She penned under a video of her name written in the sand: "I'm on leave this week for half term, so there won't be any weather updates.

Her fans were left heartbroken by the news and flooded social media with messages to say they "missed her".

"Miss you already!" one penned, as another chimed in: "Oh no, we're not going to see your gorgeous face for a whole week?"

"Have a good week!" a third said, while a fourth added: "GMB won’t be the same without your cheerfulness."

On GMB, Ranvir Singh and Robert Rinder revealed that Laura had only returned to the studio to sit backstage.

The hosts explained that she had come in as the Masked Singer star Richie Sambora headed to the studio.

Ranvir gushed over how Laura was a huge "fan" and had travelled in to meet the star behind-the-scenes.

Richie, 63, was unmasked as quirky character Jacket Potato over the weekend after nearly managing to evade the judges.

He revealed on the show that it was a "military operation" to keep his identity secret.
