Helen Flanagan reveals insight into single mum life as she grips glass of wine

Helen Flanagan offered fans an adorable family update over the weekend as she showed off the behind-the-scenes of her life as a mum.

The 32-year-old former I’m A Celebrity star admitted she had turned to wine to help her get through organising her three children into a suitable pose for a photo.

She shares Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two with her ex-partner and football star Scott Sinclair, 34.

The Coronation Street actress regularly opened up about solo parenting and shared the latest insight with her 1million followers on Monday.

In the candid collection of playful snaps, Helen was on her knees while her three children scurried around her, messing and climbing on her back.

The foursome appeared to be sitting on the carpet of what looked like her living room and all were in great spirits, laughing and smiling for the camera.

Helen simply wore a grey sports bra and pair of pink joggers for the evening at home and scraped her blonde locks back off her face in a claw clip.

While her little ones rolled around the floor, the star gripped a glass of rosé wine and kept her feet warm in some beige Ugg fur-trimmed slippers.

She captioned her gallery: ‘Trying to get a family picture with my kids,’ and added a plethora of chicken, heart and laughing face emojis onto the end of the message.

Fans and friends left words of praise for the single mum’s honesty in the comment section with one writing: ‘You are all adorable- thriving [sic].’

Another said: ‘Awww love these pics [sic],’ and a separate social media user left: ‘Glad it’s not just me that’s used as a human jenga tower [sic]’.

Helen and Scott were engaged for four years before calling it quits after she left for I’m A Celebrity filming in South Africa, according to The Sun.

At the start of November last year, a source told the publication: ‘She’s into all things spiritual and had a feeling so she sought guidance from a psychic medium.

‘Helen and Scott really tried to work on their relationship but ultimately she saw the ring breaking as a bad omen and one that meant she shouldn’t get married.’

Following their split, Helen revealed how she was dealing with her new life as a singleton: ‘Good! Life is good! I’m the only one around my house who has got their Christmas lights up.’

She continued sharing with The Sun at the most recent ITV Palooza: ‘We’re probably [going to be] at home, I’m having a new dining room which I’m very excited about so yes, Christmas at my house.’
