WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Ragnarok.

Ragnarok is returning for a third outing but what time is the Norwegian coming-of-age drama going to return?

The hit series, which delves into teenage melodrama, environmental problems and Norse mythology, hasn’t been on Netflix for the past couple of years.

Thankfully, Magne’s (played by David Stakston) journey will continue with season three ready to debut this week, picking up from where it left off in 2021.

What time will Ragnarok season three come out?

Ragnarok may be a Norwegian-based series but it is still a Netflix original production.

This means, like with every other original show on the streamer, it will technically first come out in the US.

Netflix shows are released just after midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time), so Ragnarok fans can expect season three to come out at this time on Thursday, August 24.

But there is no need to worry about spoilers if you live elsewhere as, due to the globe being split into various time zones, the six-episode drama will be out at the same moment, with just the time differs.

So Ragnarok will be ready to watch from 3am EST (Eastern Standard Time) if you reside on the East Coast.

Meanwhile, UK fans will have the show released at 8am BST (British Summer Time) on the initial release date.

And as the rest of Europe is around an hour behind the UK, Netflix subscribers in this part of the world will get season three at about 9am.

Set in the small fictional town of Edda, Norway, Magne was struggling to get used to his new mantle as Thor in season two.

New teenage gods had started making themselves known in the town as the impending war between gods and giants grew closer.

Season three is expected to see Magne and his half-brother Laurits (Jonas Strand Gravli) go head-to-head with the Jutuls, the powerful family of giants who rule Edda.

Unfortunately, this will be the beginning of the end for Ragnarok on Netflix.

Sadly, it has already been confirmed season three will be the show’s final season, wrapping up Magne’s story for good.

So with plenty at stake ahead of the war, will Magne and his team of teen gods be able to take down the giants for good?

However, there are many other fantasy and coming-of-age shows on Netflix for audiences to get their teeth stuck into, including The Witcher and Stranger Things.

Ragnarok season 3 premieres on Thursday, August 24, on Netflix.
