Only Murders in the Building has a new witness (and maybe a new suspect) in Lucy, the tween daughter of Charles’ ex-girlfriend Emma. She used to live with Charles in the Arconia and the two bonded over omelets. Charles hasn’t spoken to her since Emma broke up with him, but he reached out at the end of season 1. Now, she’s here, played by Zoe Colletti.
The teen shows up in the latest episode to reconnect with her former father figure. She’s got energy to spare and adds a new generational divide between her Gen Z terminally online-ness and Mabel’s millennial ennui. Turns out, she’s a fan of the podcast and might know something about who killed Bunny. Not only does Lucy know about the Arconia’s secret passageways, but she was also there on the night that Bunny was murdered because she was looking for Charles. Since she doesn’t have an alibi and would know how to mess with the Only Murders podcast crew by referencing things they’ve said on the pod, keep an eye on Lucy.
But if you already knew all that and are still scratching your head trying to figure out where you’ve seen this child actress before, I’ve got you covered there as well.
Here’s why Lucy may look familiar:

Colletti, who is 20 years old, has been acting on screen since 2006 and appeared in everything from studio musical comedies like Annie (the one with Willow Smith) to indies like Wildlife and Skin and even an episode of Law & Order: SVU. She’s also on Boo, Bitch, a new comedy series about a teenage ghost that just dropped on Netflix around the same time as Only Murders in the Building season 2, alongside Lana Condor!
Dark comedy, and dark material in general, seems to suit her well. She also played a lead role in Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, a legit horror movie. Her largest role to date is probably Dakota on Fear the Walking Dead. Morals tend to run gray rather than black or white in the zombie apocalypse over on that show, but even by Walking Dead standards, her character was kind of a villain. So if you have suspicions about Lucy and what she’s potentially hiding on Only Murders in the Building, you may want to remain diligent.
