Lorraine exits Idris Elba in tears after embarrassing comment

Holly Willoughby seems to have been dealt another blow after it was reported her ITV co-star Lorraine Kelly has out-earned the This Morning host by over £2million.

According to their companies’ respective accounts, the 63-year-old is thought to be worth almost £4million, with Holly close behind with £1.5million.

Lorraine’s firm Albatel has total assets worth £4.2million and net assets of £3.9million after paying off creditors, according to accounts filed on June 22, The Sun reported.

The chat show host’s assets include £2.7million in a bank account, more than £1million owed by debtors, and an investment portfolio worth around £350,000.

Lorraine appears to have out-earned many of her ITV co-stars including Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, who filed assets of £3.3million with her company Hey Ho.

The most recent accounts for Holly’s company Roxy Media Ltd on Companies House were filed in 2021 and showed assets of £1.5million.

While her former co-star Phillip Schofield logged £2.5million with Fistral Productions.

Holly’s TV gigs are paid through Roxy Media, which she owns 80 percent of, while her husband Dan Baldwin, owns the remaining 20 percent.

Holly is said to earn around £700,000 a year presenting This Morning and Dancing on Ice.

On Tuesday, Holly’s absence from the Television and Radio Industries Club Awards (TRIC) was noticed.

According to reports, Holly did not attend the awards which were held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, because she had “other commitments”.

This Morning was up for Best Daytime Show but lost out to A Place in the Sun.

Last year, the ITV chat show scooped the award and saw Holly and Phillip all smiles as they stepped onto the stage to accept their trophy.

One show insider claimed Holly skipped out on the awards to avoid “humiliation”.

They told the Daily Mail: “If you were Holly you wouldn’t have gone, would you?

“Not only would you have come face to face with Eamonn but you would have had to go through the humiliation of losing out to A Place in The Sun.

“It was all very different to this time last year when Holly and Phil turned up, big smiles on their faces, and were the toast of the do.”
