Holly Willoughby has "little choice" but to stick with ITV after her former co-host Phillip Schofield's explosive affair scandal.

But it might be best if the TV star ditches her hosting job on This Morning and fronts a new show on the channel, claims PR expert Andy Barr, CEO of 10 Yetis Digital.

Holly returned to the show on Monday (June 5) alongside Josie Gibson and made a statement about Phil where she admitted she felt "troubled" and "let down" by her former co-host.

Andy reckons that ITV won't be scared about Holly leaving and that she should stick with the channel as the BBC won't want to hire her at the moment and Channel 4 won't have the budget for her.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, he said: "I don’t think ITV will be too scared about her potentially leaving.

"Holly really has little choice but to stick with ITV if she wants to keep her profile high in the UK.

"The BBC won’t want to hire her whilst everything is still up in the air and Channel 4 won’t have the budget.

"She doesn’t quite yet have the global appeal for one of the giant streaming platforms to come in for her so a new show with ITV is probably her best option for now."

"This could all change overnight if it turns out that her impassioned speech on the show goes on to save This Morning.

"Right now though, with ITV shares trading down by around 1%, everything hangs in the balance for the future of This Morning."

Speaking about Phil on This Morning, Holly said: "It feels very strange indeed sitting here without Phil, and I imagine that you might be feeling a lot like I have.

"Shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what's been going on, and full of questions.

"You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth.

"Who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV and step down from a career that they loved."
