Peter Andre says Holly Willoughby will do well 'whatever she does next'
Wednesday’s GB News saw Peter Andre hosting as a guest presenter alongside Ellie Costello.
In his debut on the show, Peter was leading discussions on all the latest from the Phillip Schofield fallout.
Phillip quit This Morning recently before admitting to having an affair with a much younger male colleague on the show while still married to his wife, Stephanie Lowe.
Speculation has been rife about Holly Willoughby and whether or not she will make a comeback to the ITV magazine show.
Peter, who’s made several appearances on the ITV show before, applauded Holly’s career as he predicted she would bounce back from the scandal “whatever she goes on to do”.
GB News guests Sean McDonald and Candice Holdsworth joined Peter and Ellie to talk about the day’s headlines.
“Apparently, Holly’s going to be back…” Ellie stated, to which Candice replied: “Yeah, so this is the story that everyone’s talking about – obviously, Schofield’s gone but now everyone’s wondering what is going to happen to Holly.
“So this story in The Sun says that she’ll be back. We don’t know in what form, what she’s going to say.
“A lot of people are saying that she needs to go as well because she’s tainted by this…

“I must say though, I have pretty mixed feelings about that. I’m not sure if she should be carrying the can for what he’s done…
“I mean I understand that she was his friend, their brands are so linked together but I feel like people are blaming her maybe more than she deserves.
“And I think maybe we should give her the chance to redeem herself, that’s my position on it.”
“I think Candice makes a great point,” Sean responded, continuing: “You shouldn’t hold a woman responsible for the actions of a man.

“However, I think she has become inextricably linked with this story because to come out and say, ‘Oh, I had no idea, I was lied to – I asked Phillip once and he said no and that was it.’
“It now seems to be transpiring that there’s actually a lot more to it than that.”
Peter then chipped in: “I mean, Holly’s a great presenter and, you know when you look at someone like Ant and Dec where really, you can’t see one without the other.”
He went on: “I might be the only one that thinks this but I think Holly on her own has done exceptionally well.
“And you kind of accept her on her own as well, so whatever she goes to do after this, I’m sure she’ll be brilliant.
“If she comes back, she’ll find a way to sort it out.”
Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel airs weekdays from 6am on GB News.
