Holly Willoughby’s new This Morning co-star has been revealed as none other than Good Morning Britain star Ben Shephard.
The TV presenter is set to join Holly on the famous daytime sofa on Monday morning, stepping in for Irish star Craig Doyle, who has been appearing on and off for a few months.
At the end of Friday's show, Ben was announced as the latest person to join the This Morning family by fellow presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
Alison told viewers: “Holly will be back on Monday when she's gonna be presenting alongside the lovely Ben Shephard”. Co-star Dermot jumped in and said: “Yeah, as it should be!”.
Since Phillip Schofield left the daytime program in May, Holly has been joined by a number of guest co-stars including Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, and Steve Jones.
Phillip and Holly presented the ITV daytime show together for over a decade until he left the show after admitting to having an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague.
Ben is well equipped to step foot in the This Morning studio as he has worked in the TV industry since the late 90s. Ben has also presented game shows including Tipping Point and Ninja Warrior UK.
The presenter Ben shares a 17 year old son, Sam, and 15 year old Son, Jack, with his wife Annie, who he married in 2004.
The couple tied the knot on a romantic private island wedding off the coast of Devon surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The news follows after Phillip Schofield removed all traces of his former friend Holly from his social media. Many of the photos on Phillip's Instagram were snaps of the pair socialising away from work, however, it appears that the pair have cut all ties as Phillip has removed all of the photos of him and Holly from his account as he looks to "move on".
A source toldthe Daily Mail: "Holly and Phil used to post pictures together for fun, they were huge parts of one another's lives, and they loved to show their viewers how close they are."
They went on to say: "The fact that Phil appears to have removed them from his page is very telling about how he feels about Holly. He seems to have moved on for good now, and is trying to leave Holly behind."
Holly, 42, still follows her former co-host on the platform, but Phillip has unfollowed her.
