Hollyoaks cheating scandal as Diane and Dave embark on passionate affair?

Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) continues to receive support from Dave Chen-Williams (Dominic Power) in Hollyoaks as husband Tony (Nick Pickard) gets preoccupied with work duties.

Tony, as viewers know, has majorly neglected Diane in recent months since obtaining a position on the local council.

Diane has felt lonely as a result and, earlier this month, she opened up to Dave about her struggles, and he subsequently offered her some advice to spice things up in her marriage.

The Dog landlady soon devised a plan for a romantic evening with her beau, but her efforts ultimately backfired – quite dramatically – which resulted in Tony winding up on the couch.

Tony realised the error of his ways, having had a chat with his old pal Dave, who has so much wisdom to impart when it comes to marriage given that he and wife Honour (Vera Chok) are considered to be the perfect couple.

Diane subsequently forgave Tony’s shortcomings, but conflict arises once more when she’s not invited on Tony’s golf trip, and instead handed a list of chores to complete instead!

The cheeky devil.

As Tony departs, Diane sends about tackling the mammoth list of things to do in preparation for the carnival, and let’s just say that it’s all a little overwhelming.

Dave, however, is on hand to help!

The following week, Diane can’t move her escape room, but fear not, as Dave is on the case once more, as he comes to her aid.

Dave seems to be on hand to help Diane out a lot, but the question is: are the two perhaps getting too close?

With Diane feeling unsupported by Tony, will she perhaps find herself drawn to Dave? If so, will Dave reciprocate these feelings?

Only time will tell.
